By now you have probably realised that F.A.W.C! is the coolest thing since sliced bread and have made your way to this page to find out all the latest news to hit the headlines.

We like making headlines and are on hand to assist media who may want to come down and sample the coolness for themselves (in exchange for telling the world about F.A.W.C! through editorial commissions of course). 5th June 2014 - Winter F.A.W.C! starts tomorrow in Hawke's Bay

The “Four Weekends of Winter F.A.W.C!” start tomorrow night, with eleven of the fifty one events in the Winter F.A.W.C! programme running over opening weekend.

Ticket demand has been exceptionally high, with seven of the eleven events sold out and the remaining four very close. This Friday and Saturday night over 400 “FAWCers” will be making the most of the events at venues around Hawke’s Bay including Church Road Winery, Ten Twenty Four Restaurant, Black Barn Vineyards, Deliciosa Tapas and Wine, Craggy Range, Elephant Hill and Crab Farm Winery.

21st August 2013 - F.A.W.C! Summer Series is back for 2013

Today Hawke’s Bay Tourism unveiled the event schedule for F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic, Summer Series 2013.  F.A.W.C! Summer Series will run November 1st-10th with over sixty events on offer during the ten days at various locations in Hawke’s Bay.

Over forty “FAWCers” gathered at Sileni Estate Winery to present their F.A.W.C! events and toast the release of the official programme-The Book of F.A.W.C!

23rd August 2013 - F.A.W.C! Tickets are selling fast

Tickets to F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic, Hawke’s Bay are proving in hot demand after being released to pre-sale today.

Subscribers to the F.A.W.C! database (FAWCers) were given access to ticket sales from 9am today and have taken full advantage to the opportunity with seven events selling out before the close of business.

Deliciosa Tapas and Wine set the record with all three of their F.A.W.C! events selling out within 34 minutes. Sarah Watson, Owner of Deliciosa said “she was thrilled to be the first cab off the rank”

26th October 2012 - Business Backs F.A.W.C!

Hawke’s Bay Tourism is delighted with the level of support for F.A.W.C! from the business sector with seven businesses signing on as sponsors of the event.

Bayleys, Electrolux, EuroCity, RadioLive, Air New Zealand, Hastings District Council and Hawke’s Bay Today have all committed to support the series.

29th October 2012 - F.A.W.C! events selling out fast

With less than four days remaining until the launch of F.A.W.C! Hawkes Bay Food and Wine Classic Summer Series 2012, nine events have completely sold out with many more close to reaching their limit.

F.A.W.C! is a series of over fifty five unique food and wine experiences in Hawke’s Bay between 2nd-11th November

26th October 2012 - Masterchef winner set to plate up at F.A.W.C!

For the first time ever in New Zealand all three MasterChef New Zealand winners will be cooking in the same event at F.A.W.C! Hawke’s Bay Food and Wine Classic.

Brett McGregor, Nadia Lim and Chelsea Winter will team up with Black Barn on November 3rd to create a three course fine dining experience set in the stunning Black Barn Retreats. Each winner will prepare and cook a course before handing the kitchen over to the next chef.

13th July 2012 - Celebrity chef Ray McVinnie joins F.A.W.C! Hawke's Bay Food and Wine Classic

Hawke’s Bay Tourism has announced New Zealand celebrity chef and Masterchef judge Ray McVinnie as the official ambassador for F.A.W.C!-the Food and Wine Classic in Hawke’s Bay.

F.A.W.C! is a collection of unique food and wine experiences that can only be had in Hawke’s Bay with the Summer series in November with the winter series planned for June 2013.
