F.A.W.C! Day Out

F.A.W.C! Day Out is new and is the official launch of Summer F.A.W.C!

F.A.W.C! Day Out is about taking part in some masterclasses, discovering new tastes and produce at our food stalls, devouring food off the Hawke’s Bay Grill and trying any number of Hawke’s Bay drops. It will all take place in and around the glorious spaces of Black Barn Vineyards.
You can learn as little or as much as you like – select the ticket that works best for you!

$80 Entry Level - This ticket includes a $5 advance on your first purchase, one of six masterclasses in the Olive Shed and a first glass (which you get to keep for the day) of something delicious on arrival.

$155 Gourmand Admission. (GA) - This ticket includes a $20 advance on your day, up to four pre-booked masterclasses in either the Olive Shed, Underground Cellar or School for Big Cheeses, a first glass (which you get to keep for the day) of something delicious on arrival and a F.A.W.C! Goody Bag.

$200 VIP (limited tickets) - This ticket includes a $20 advance on your day, up to six pre-booked masterclasses with priority seating in either the Olive Shed, Underground Cellar or School for Big Cheeses, access to the VIP Lounge at Rush Cottage, VIP parking, a first glass (which you get to keep for the day) of something delicious on arrival and a F.A.W.C! Goody Bag.

The Olive Shed Masterclasses - Six food masterclasses featuring James Beck, Ray McVinnie, Nici Wickes, Claire Aldous and Martin Bosley.
The Underground Wine Cellar Masterclasses - Six wine masterclasses brought to you by Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers featuring a top-notch line-up of Hawke’s Bay wine-making talent. This includes two classes by Simon Nash MW.
The School for Big Cheeses – a series of five cheese masterclasses with Juliet Harbutt.

In addition, there will be;
The Food Tent in the Market Round featuring; Al Brown and the Depot Oyster Bar, The Hawke’s Bay Grill with local Hawke’s Bay chefs Andrew Saxon from The Good Table, Casey McDonald from Terroir at Craggy Range, David Griffith from Mister D, Francky Godinho from St George’s, and Paolo Pancotti from Molto Italian Kitchen, over twenty local growers and producers collaborating to create delicious tastes and bites from Bay Blueberries, Black Barn Kitchen, Bostock Brothers, Hapi, Hawthorne Coffee, Heather’s Feijoas, Henry’s Juice, Mirams’s Chocolatier, OMG Bread, Op’s Kitchen, Orcona Chilli’s n’ Peppers, Origin Earth, Pintxo Chacuterie, Rush Munro Ice Cream, Te Mata Figs, The Apple Press, The Damson Collection, The Deli, The Mad Platter, The Village Press, Yabon.

The Drink Marquee features over twenty-five Hawke’s Bay wineries, a selection of craft breweries and local cideries serving their very best. Wineries - Askerne Wines, Black Barn Vineyards, Collaboration Wines, Craggy Range Wines, Decibel Wines, Elephant Hill Winery, Limerock Wines, Paritua, Pask Winery, Petane Station, Smith & Sheth, Squawking Magpie, Supernatural Wines, Te Awa Winery, Tironui Estate, Tony Bish Wines, Trinity Hill, Vidal Estate. Beer – Deco City Beer, Godsown Brewery, Zeelandt Brewery. Cider – Edgebrook Cider, Three Wise Birds Cider, Zeffer Cider.

Dotted about the venue will be lounging areas created by Flock Event, music from Jonny Avery and DJ Rakai, BMW water stations, and games of Kubb.

It will be an unforgettable day in Hawke’s Bay.

Masterclasses are valued at $20 per class
F.A.W.C! Goody Bag is valued at $25 and includes your F.A.W.C! glass, and BMW Keep Cup and of course a handy, reusable jute bag.
All purchases will be made on site using AWOP wristbands. AWOP wristbands will be provided to all ticket holders. Kiosks will be available on site to top-up wristbands. No cash will be used on site.
Costs of food and wine are not included in your ticket.
GA tickets - Group booking discount available - $1,250 for ten people (discounted from $1,550)
