Branching out with The Apple Press
One of nature’s most delicious and versatile fruits, apples can bring a fresh, crisp flavour to any dish. Not only are they the perfect ingredient for cooking, they also make an incredibly tasty base for juices made by The Apple Press.
A one-off of collaboration between St George’s Restaurant and The Apple Press will see the popular juice become the hero of the day, kicking off on your arrival where you will enjoy canapes served with a sample of apple press products. Move through to the dining area for a two-course meal (main and dessert) where you can expect lighter and cold items, not the heavy, cooked items you usually expect during Winter (because apples can be enjoyed year-round!) – Francky Godinho will be plating up an apple inspired meal, but not as you know it… expect Pork but not as the main, and a twist on the classic apple crumble.
Ticket price includes The Apple Press tastings, canapes and 2-course lunch. The Apple Press cocktails/mocktails, wines and beer will be available for purchase.
